Cross Country enjoys three events with the Kowloon or Island and then Championship event. The age requirement for Cross Country is broader than all other Core Sports in that we see U8s, U9s, U10s, U11s and U12s have the opportunity to represent their schools.
Students run for individual placings but also age grade/gender placings and the coveted HKPSSA Cross Country Championship Banner. Students are scored based on their placing and the school with the lowest points overall take the banner. Students across our association get to travel to the beauty which is Discovery Bay to run in the Championships on a usually crisp March Saturday morning and hosted by Discovery College.
