Tag Rugby is played in small sided games in a tournament format. Boys and girls can play and are sometimes separated into single sex teams, other times, teams are mixed.
This is a developmental game to prepare young players for full sided rugby by introducing some of the key principles, skills and tactics. Students play in divisional tournaments with the Island schools or Kowloon schools before coming together to play in the Championships.
